Fruitify your day! Mixed Fruit Smoothie Recipes

One of the best ways to refresh yourself is by having a detoxified body. Not only it revitalizes your inner body with natural nutrients, but also it nourishes your well-being while having a soothing run down your throat especially during the hot days. It is important to allow your body to enjoy the cool while maintaining a healthy balance of ions in your system. What else more perfect for this purpose than the ultimate favorite fruity smoothie?

Wake up and blend up one of these healthy smoothie recipes for a great start to your day. They’re easy to make, refreshing and nutritious.

Ingredients

Fruity Smoothie
Option #1

  • 1 cup strawberries, stemmed
  • 1 cup watermelon, sliced
  • 1 cup apple, sliced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 5 pcs milk ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp pure honey (optional)

Option #2

  • 1 cup apple, sliced
  • 1 cup pear, peeled and sliced
  • 1 whole kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 5 pcs milk ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp pure honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Option #3

  • 2 cups watermelon, sliced
  • 1 whole banana, sliced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 5 pcs milk ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp pure honey (optional)

Directions

Put the milk ice cubes in the blender, add yogurt and process to crush the ice cubes. Add all the sliced fruits and honey (if desired), purée until smooth. Pour into smoothie jars / glasses and serve.

Note: For dairy-free smoothies, choose substitutes such as almond milk, rice milk or soy milk instead of the cow’s milk and yogurt.
